Anjal vs AgentMail: pricing and features
AgentMail is the closest like-for-like product: both give an AI agent its own inbox through an API. The differences are price points, SDKs, security and apps.
Checked October 2026 against AgentMail's own site. Where AgentMail does not list a feature we write “Not listed”, which is not the same as “no”.
AgentMail and Anjal solve the same problem: an AI agent needs a real email address that can send, receive and thread replies, without borrowing a person's Gmail. Both offer REST APIs, an MCP server, webhooks, WebSockets, custom domains, drafts and scheduled send.
Where they differ is mostly in the details around that core. AgentMail has a free plan, Python and TypeScript SDKs and a SOC 2 report on its Startup plan. Anjal costs less at the entry tiers, scans inbound mail for prompt injection before an agent reads it, gives every inbox a calendar, and ships Mac, Windows and iPhone apps so a person can read the same mailbox.
