Anjal vs Nylas: pricing and features
Nylas started as an API over people's existing Gmail and Outlook accounts and now also hosts inboxes for agents. Anjal only hosts the inbox.
Checked October 2026 against Nylas's own site. Where Nylas does not list a feature we write “Not listed”, which is not the same as “no”.
Nylas is best known for connecting an app to a user's existing Gmail, Outlook or Exchange account. It now also sells Agent Accounts: an inbox and calendar hosted by Nylas for an AI agent.
Anjal does one of those jobs. It hosts the mailbox itself, on your domain or ours, and does not read a person's existing Gmail through OAuth. If you need to act on your users' own mailboxes, that is Nylas's territory. If you need mailboxes for agents, the two compare directly.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Anjal and Nylas?
Nylas connects apps to people's existing Gmail and Outlook accounts, and also hosts Agent Accounts. Anjal only hosts inboxes for agents and people, on your domain or ours. They overlap on agent inboxes.
Which is cheaper for AI agent inboxes?
At ten inboxes the plans cost the same, $15/mo, and Anjal includes 20,000 emails against 10,000. At fifty inboxes Nylas Pro ($49/mo) is cheaper than Anjal Developer plus 40 extra inboxes ($95/mo). Prices as of October 2026.

No. Anjal hosts the mailbox. If you want Anjal inboxes on a domain that already uses Google Workspace, it can share the domain and take mail for addresses Google does not have, but it does not read Gmail accounts.
