Anjal vs Mailgun: pricing and features
Mailgun is a mature sending and routing API with automatic overage and dedicated IPs. Anjal is a mailbox service for agents.
Checked October 2026 against Mailgun's own site. Where Mailgun does not list a feature we write “Not listed”, which is not the same as “no”.
Mailgun is an established transactional email API with inbound routes, which forward or post received mail to your application. It scales by volume, bills overage automatically and offers dedicated IPs.
Anjal gives each agent a full mailbox instead: threads, drafts, labels, IMAP and an inbox people can open. If you are building a service that sends a lot of mail from code, Mailgun's model fits. If you are giving an agent an identity, Anjal's does.

- You want a small flat plan and a mailbox people can open over IMAP or in the apps.
- You want what the agent reads screened for prompt injection.
